Winter in the Klöntal Valley is quiet, powerful and intense. When Lake Klöntal freezes over and the sun hides behind the mountains, Hotel Rhodannenberg transforms into a place for slowing down, indulgence and special moments.

At the heart of it all are our panoramic igloos on the terrace – sheltered, warm spaces lit by the glow of a wood-burning stove, with unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. Here, you can experience winter up close without getting cold: enjoy a cosy meal, celebrate all kinds of occasions or spend atmospheric evenings with your loved ones.

We are starting the fondue and raclette season – perfect for long winter evenings with friends, family or colleagues.

• A selection of delicious cheese fondues and raclette variations  
• Optionally combined with an aperitif outdoors or in the panoramic igloos  
• Also ideal for groups and company dinners

Winter group experiences & menus

Are you planning a company event, club outing or private winter celebration?

Together with regional partners, we create individual events – for example with:

• An aperitif by the fire  
• Multi-course winter menus in the restaurant or in the panoramic igloos  
• The option of exclusively booking Hotel Rhodannenberg for your event

For groups, we have put together special winter group menus that are perfectly suited to atmospheric evenings in the Klöntal Valley.

Winter opening hours from 1 November 2026

To help you plan your stay, here are our current opening hours:

Restaurant

Open: Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays
Hot meals: 13:00–20:00

Breakfast

Wednesday to Sunday by advance reservation
08:00–10:00

Annual company holiday from 21 December 2026 to 7 January 2027.

We are happy to accept group reservations for 15 or more people –
where possible, we will adjust our opening hours to suit your needs.
